Torque Plugin for PROTON cars

This is a Torque plugin for Malaysian made Proton cars, particularly for Campro engines older than 2010. Read real time data, read error codes.!!

This is the free version with limited sensors/parameters and features. More parameters (a lot more..!) and features are available in the paid version. Try this free version and if you like it, please buy the full version from Googleplay..!

Prerequisite:

1. This is a Torque plugin. You need to get Torque installed in your device. This plugin will NOT work alone.

2. You need ELM327 compliant adapter. Make sure you do not use ELM327 version 2.1 which does not support k-line communications. Get adapters confirmed to work from me or from ahmad hamidon (youu can get it from http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia ).

3. Please also make sure you follow the instruction below. And make sure connection to ECU is OK before scan error, erase error or check the status to avoid app crashes.

Installation procedures:

This plugin is for Proton cars. New vehicles with CFE engine does not require any setup. Vehicles with older CAMPRO and CPS engines are supported and requires special setup as below:

1. This plugin requires full access to OBD device. Check the 'Allow plugin full access' in Settings --> Plugins

2. Create a new vehicle profile in Torque. Under Menu, select 'Vehicle Profile'. then click 'create new profile'...,

3. Name the profile 'PROTON'. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Show advance settings'

4. Scroll to the bottom. In 'Preferred OBD Protocol' select 'ISO 14230(fast init,10.4baud)'

5. Click 'Save'

6. Create another vehicle profile and name it 'Blank' scroll to the bottom and 'Save'. Do not put any advanced settings

7. Select the Proton CPS vehicle profile you created earlier every time you want scan CAMPRO engines other than CFE by tapping on Menu --> 'Vehicle Profile'-->select the ones that you created. For other vehicles, use the 'Blank' profile.

8. Create custom PIDs from Settings --> Manage extra PID/Sensors --> tap settings and select 'Add predefined set'. Select 'Proton PIDs'.

9. Create displays in 'Realtime Information' by tapping Realtime Information --> go to empty page -->tap menu --> Add display -->pick your meter type --> Select PIDs that start with {PROTON}.

10. Make sure you go to this page every time you want to use PROTON cars. Otherwise, Torque wouldn't connect to your ECU. You may need to wait for a while for Torque to connect to your ECU

11. Now you are ready to use the Torque for scanning your car.

12. To scan error codes (or other features in the paid version), tap on this plugin logo (PROTON OBD). Please make sure connection to ECU is OK before scanning to avoid apps crashes

Ini adalah versi gratis dengan terbatas sensor / parameter dan fitur. Lebih parameter (lebih banyak ..!) Dan fitur yang tersedia dalam versi berbayar. Coba versi gratis ini dan jika Anda suka, silahkan membeli versi lengkap dari GOOGLEPLAY ..!

Prasyarat:

1. Ini adalah plugin Torque. Anda perlu untuk mendapatkan Torque terinstal pada perangkat Anda. plugin ini tidak akan bekerja sendirian.

2. Anda perlu ELM327 adaptor compliant. Pastikan Anda tidak menggunakan ELM327 versi 2.1 yang tidak mendukung komunikasi k-line. Dapatkan adapter dikonfirmasi untuk bekerja dari saya atau dari ahmad Hamidon (youu bisa mendapatkannya dari http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia).

3. Pastikan juga Anda mengikuti instruksi di bawah ini. Dan pastikan koneksi ke ECU adalah OK sebelum memindai kesalahan, menghapus kesalahan atau memeriksa status untuk menghindari crash aplikasi.

Prosedur instalasi:

Plugin ini untuk mobil Proton. kendaraan baru dengan mesin CFE tidak memerlukan setup. Kendaraan dengan lebih tua CAMPRO dan CPS mesin didukung dan membutuhkan pengaturan khusus sebagai berikut:

1. Plugin ini membutuhkan akses penuh ke perangkat OBD. Periksa 'Izinkan Plugin akses penuh' di Settings -> Plugins

2. Membuat profil kendaraan baru di Torque. Di bawah Menu, pilih 'Kendaraan Profil'. kemudian klik 'membuat profil baru' ...,

3. Nama profil 'PROTON'. Gulir ke bawah dan klik 'Tampilkan pengaturan muka'

4. Gulir ke bawah. Dalam 'Protokol OBD Preferred' pilih 'ISO 14230 (init cepat, 10.4baud)'

5. Klik 'Simpan'

6. Buat profil kendaraan lain dan nama itu 'Kosong' gulir ke bawah dan 'Save'. Jangan menempatkan setiap pengaturan lanjutan

7. Pilih kendaraan Proton CPS profil Anda buat sebelumnya setiap kali Anda ingin mesin CAMPRO memindai selain CFE dengan menekan pada Menu -> 'Profil Kendaraan' -> pilih orang yang Anda buat. Untuk kendaraan lain, menggunakan 'Kosong' profil.

8. Buat PID kustom dari Settings -> Manage ekstra PID / Sensor -> pengaturan tap dan pilih 'Add set yang telah ditetapkan'. Pilih 'Proton PID'.

9. Buat display di 'Informasi Realtime' dengan menekan Informasi Realtime -> pergi ke halaman kosong -> menu tap -> Add display -> pilih jenis meter Anda -> Pilih PID yang dimulai dengan {PROTON}.

10. Pastikan Anda pergi ke halaman ini setiap kali Anda ingin menggunakan mobil PROTON. Jika tidak, Torsi tidak akan terhubung ke ECU Anda. Anda mungkin harus menunggu beberapa saat untuk Torque untuk terhubung ke ECU Anda

11. Sekarang Anda siap untuk menggunakan Torque untuk memindai mobil Anda.

12. Untuk memindai kode kesalahan (atau fitur lainnya dalam versi berbayar), tekan logo plugin ini (PROTON OBD). Pastikan koneksi ke ECU adalah OK sebelum pemindaian untuk menghindari aplikasi crash
